Primary Role:
Assist the producers of individual income defense products (individual life, health, disability, long-term care and Medicare products) in processing, renewing and securing coverage. Work with the rest of the Life and Health team to retain clients and round out books of business when possible to grow revenue. Handle the insurance needs of our clients in a professional, accurate and timely manner as outlined in our Agency Standards, and act as your client’s advocate. We strive to be the “Lifetime Financial Partner” to our clients.
Work Duties & Activities:
- Communicating with Professionals Inside & Outside Organization
- Interact with insurance company underwriters and wholesale brokers to obtain new and renewal quotes, request policy changes and advocate on behalf of the customer; follow up as needed
- Assist in preparing spreadsheet comparison of various quote options
- Preparing renewal options for presentation to clients
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships

- Updating and Maintaining Important Client Information
- Uphold data integrity by performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining
records and renewing policies. - Document all activity related to a customer/policy in AMS360, attaching all
supporting documentation, ensure back-up or another team member receives
and takes responsibility to document AMS360 - Update client phone and email contact to maintain proper communication data

- Provide backup for other Account Managers and Service Team members

Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail and project management.
- Adaptability and flexibility to function in multiple roles across teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the desire to work with both clients and insurance company underwriters.
- Computer competency in Word, Excel, data entry and similar software applications.
- Associate or higher degree preferred: extended experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in an insurance agency environment and familiarity with insurance terms and coverage are beneficial but not required.
- Must obtain & maintain a Wisconsin Insurance License for Life & Health. Agency provides funding & support of licensure.

- Round out additional P&C coverages for existing clients (Businessowners package, Management Liability, Cyber Liability, Medical Professional Liability).
- Develop new programs for non-physician medical professionals (e.g., Chiropractors, Wellness Clinics, etc.), Medtech, Healthtech and emerging health care organizations.
- Cross sell – set up opportunities for Life, Disability and Group Benefit Agents to cross-sell.
- Partner with Highly Experienced Agent to Renew & Grow Existing Book of Physicians & Clinics

Qualifications:

- Experience with agency/client management systems, rating systems, strong personal computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

Physical Requirements
- This is a fulltime position requiring attendance during core business hours. The employee must be able to work under short deadlines and compressed schedules in a work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and intense interpersonal demands. This requires daily use of a computer, using various software applications with exposure to a normal physical office environment.
